This should guarantee it compatibility with future versions as Microsoft become responsible for maintaining the SimConnect interface itself, though the few exceptions currently remaining does mean that you have to look out for specific updates. It is built around the new Microsoft interface named “SimConnect” which is used almost (but not yet quite) exclusively for its interactions with FSX. FSUIPC4 is a completely new version of FSUIPC designed for FSX and hopefully all future versions of Microsoft Flight Simulator. So now I can open individual doors without needing to press shit-E + 1,2,3, or 4. Repeat above and enter 3 for the third door in the parameters section for I think its the AFT cargo door Under Parameters, type in 2 this time for the RIGHT side front and rear doors to open/close etc etc. Then for "Control Sent When Button Pressed" option, select from the dropdown box "Toggle Aircraft Exit option Press another button on your keypad or ?Ĭheck mark "Select for FS Control" option Under that where is says Parameters, type in 1 to open/close the LEFT side front and rear doors. Then in the tab where is says "Control sent When Button Pressed" select from the dropdown box "Toggle Aircraft Exit" option. Then Check mark "Select for FS Control option Then Press any button on your keypad or joystick or whatever to assign the command Programming the FSUIPC was easy for the doors. As you can see in my picture I have assigned the last 4 buttons labeled (LEF,T RIGHT, FWD and AFT) on my homemade keypad to FSUIPC to control the 4 door exits and the upper buttons labeled 1 to 0 to control the ATC menu parameters and GSX parameters. I try not to use the keyboard as much as possible for commands and map them out through some kind of virtual joysticks devices like the Pokeys 55 which I used in this case and have a small numeric keypad I built and fitted in my pedestal. Just though I'd post how I assign my exit door commands in FSX (Shift-E + 1,2,3 or 4) through FSUIPC to a homemade keypad and don't have to use my keyboard in order to open/close the doors on the 737 for GSX to do it's thing.
